Andrew is a lifelong Evanstonian and a graduate of Evanston High School. Before becoming Mudlark's Artistic Director in 2009, he received a B.A. in Russian Studies from Carleton College, studying direction and dramaturgy under theater scholar Anna Dotlibova, and spent three years in Moscow working as editor of an arts magazine. His directing and adaptation writing credits at Mudlark include Peter Pan, The Comedy of Errors, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Alice in Wonderland, Twelfth Night, The Inspector General, The Light Princess, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Frankenstein, Through the Looking Glass, Love's Labour's Lost, Don Quixote, The Odyssey, Much Ado About Nothing, and The Cherry Orchard. In 2014, he played Scrooge in Mudlark's production of A Christmas Carol and directed The Two Gentlemen of Verona at Muse of Fire Theatre.
