Krista D’Agostino is an educator, director, and actor originally from Boston, MA where she received her B.A. in Theater Arts from Boston College. Mudlark directing credits include Fairly Grimm Tales, Pinocchio, Pandora’s Box, The Nutcracker, Aesop’s Fables and Little Women, along with the three-week summer productions of As You Like It and The Comedy of Errors. While at Mudlark Krista has developed curriculum for teaching Accents & Dialects, Fantasy Makeup, and Zombie Bootcamp. As an actor and director in Chicago Krista has recently worked with WildClaw Theater (where she is a company member), Lifeline Theater, Filament Theater Ensemble, LiveWire Chicago Theater, and Knife & Fork. Krista has also volunteered as an assistant with The Memory Ensemble and the Institute for Therapy through the Arts, teaching storytelling and improvisation to individuals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
While in Boston, Krista was the Producing Artistic Director for Holland Productions, a fringe theater company dedicated to exploring women’s voices and stories on stage. In addition to her work as a theater artist and administrator, Krista has a strong background in Human Resources and Recruiting having worked for years at the MIT Center for Work, Family & Personal Life and internally at staffing firms in Boston and Chicago.
