Maureen has 20 years of nonprofit and foundation leadership experience, directing local and international organizations focused on theater, women and youth. She is honored to join Mudlark Theater Company and privileged to work with Mudlark’s exceptional staff and artists.
Maureen previously served as Executive Director of Worldwide Fistula Fund, Zonta International and Zonta International Foundation, where she collaborated with organizations around the world to improve the education, health and safety of women and girls. Locally, she served as Program Officer at Evanston Community Foundation and as a Company Member of TimeLine Theatre Company. At TimeLine, she helped shape the organization’s vision, programming, branding and institutional development, while contributing to the success of 30 productions in a variety of positions. Earlier, she directed programs for Chicago Cares, led a shelter for victims of domestic violence and served as Area Director for the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Southwest. Maureen received her B.A. degree in communication and theater at Loyola University of Chicago. She lives in Evanston with her husband and two sons.
