Spring 2013 Season

Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass (April 12-15; 19-21)
Adapted and directed by Andrew Biliter
Chess had always been a hobby for 9-year-old Alice, but when she steps through her mirror into a world run by chessmen, it's time for her to step up her game. Reverse images, twisted logic, and strange creatures populate this immersive sequel to Alice in Wonderland.

The Trial, based on the novel by Franz Kafka (May 17-19; 23-26)
Adapted and directed by Michael Miro
Josef K. wakes one morning to learn that he is under arrest—yet no one will tell him what he's done wrong, reveal the identity of his accusers, or even bother to put him in jail. Can he get to the bottom of this bureaucratic nightmare before his time is up?

Trickster Hero (June 6-9)
Written and directed by Christina Lepri
As siblings Tyler and Nat struggle to adjust to a new school and a new town, help arrives in the not-so- helpful form of Nanabozho, the mischievous trickster hero of the Ojibwe tribe. Through trial, error, and transformation Nanabozho brings to life a rich mythology of compelling, hilarious, and ancient stories indigenous to our own Lake Michigan.
