High School Summer Shows 2026

This summer, Mudlark is producing two high school productions!

Part of Theater on the Ridge in partnership with the Ridgeville Park District.

Macbeth in the dark

By William Shakespeare
Directed and adapted by Andrew Biliter
June 12 - 14, 2026

“Let not light see my black and deep desires.” A strange prophecy that he will become king sets the war hero Macbeth on a path from which there is no turning back. Mudlark’s production, set outdoors as the sun sets, will put Shakespeare’s infamous tragedy quite literally in the dark. Who knows what sort of magic or mayhem will lurk around every corner?

Romeo and Juliet

By William Shakespeare
Directed and adapted Dana Anderson
July 17 - 19, 2026

What’s in a name? When teenage Juliet dances with a charming stranger at a party, she has no idea that he is Romeo and a Montague- one of the sworn enemies of her family. As Romeo and Juliet defy the forces around them to choose young love over old hatred, they have no way of knowing the devastating ending ahead of them.
