There is a mystery unfolding at the Lark School of the Arts... and we need your help to solve it. At this ancient school tasked with training its students in the Arts - Physical, Martial, and Magical - trouble is afoot. Calling upon their skills in character building, improv, and problem solving, students will play through this original pen and paper role playing game while building and exercising new theater tools. Bring your pencils and your imaginations, and come ready to play.

As a reminder - classes for the Winter session run from 10AM-12PM from January 19th - March 9th

Get that idea out of your head and onto the page; and don’t worry, we’ll be up on our feet playing plenty of games too. Buckle up because imaginations will be running wild all afternoon. All pieces written during this workshop will be considered for the Mudpie 2019 Mainstage.

IMPROV: LEGENDS AND LORE
FEBRUARY 6th from 1-4:30PM
Legends and lore are passed down and remembered through centuries and millennia, but today, we’ll make them up on the spot. There are tales we all know, but do we know where they come from? STAGE COMBAT

Put on your fight face and get ready to rumble. This (safe) crash course in the basics of hand-to-hand stage combat will include slaps, falls, pushes, and more. Focused on weaving combat into plot, learn how to combine character and story with motivation to (fake) beat up your friends with a purpose. Accessible to all skill levels.

PUPPET BOOT CAMP

Crafters, storytellers, and jokesters fall in line… this is the workshop for you. Create and bring to life your very own puppets, giving all those characters in your head a face, a voice, and a name.
