Celebrating 20 Years of Community
Every Mudlark experience is built on care, equity, challenge, and joy. That’s why, since our founding in 2005, we have always offered unconditional financial assistance for families. Our commitment to keeping Mudlark accessible is what has made us a place for everyone and a truly unique part of the Evanston community.
The Challenge We’re Facing
In 2025, we will provide an all-time high in scholarship support through our sliding-scale pricing. Over the last three years, that number has been rising at a rate that registration fees and ticket sales cannot possibly cover.
But, we remain committed to the belief that this support is critical to our mission.
It allows us to reach families across the area, even as a radical upheaval affects the funding available for nonprofits. Building ensembles and classrooms that reflect our entire community strengthens our young artists, our neighborhoods, and the art we make and share.
Our ability to offer unconditional scholarships is at real risk and we need your help to keep this essential part of our identity possible.
How Mudlark Remains Financially Accessible
Payment Plans
Families are now able to choose Payment Plans with 2, 3, or 4 installments. There is NO INTEREST or additional fees when using a payment plan, and you can still utilize a scholarship with this option. To use a payment plan, go to the registration page of your program and select the installment plan of your choice.
Our Community
There are many ways to support Mudlark beyond the participation fees that make a real impact.
Donate a Service: Work at a local restaurant, bakery, or business? Sponsor food for an event or services for a Mudlark program! Email sarah@mudlarktheater.org
Volunteer: Usher a show or volunteer at one of our annual events. Have expertise in sewing, design, or tech? Or handy with a glue gun? Click here to volunteer with us!
